1.
How to Register |
|
Purpose of creating a customer account is to save the name and address
information to ease the checkout process on
all subsequent orders you may wish to place in our webstore and/or to
create & access a wish list/gift registry. By clicking on "Sign In" above the product
categories, or "Account" under the top navigation bar, you will
be taken to a "Log In" page. Click on "Create New
Account", fill out and save your personal information. When you
log in to your account on your next visit, the system
will pre-fill the billing and shipping information when you proceed to
checkout. Please note that our system does not store payment
information under customer's account, it needs to be re-entered with every
order as explained below.

2. Using Your Account |
|
As mentioned in "How to Register" section above, purpose of
creating and maintaining a customer account at KidsRoomTreasures.com is to ease
the checkout process on all subsequent orders you may wish to place in our
webstore after your initial order. To sign in to your account,
please click on the "Sign In" above the product categories, or
"Account" under the top navigation bar, and you will be taken to
a "Log In" page. Enter your login username and
password. When you successfully login, the system displays a
"Welcome back, your name" message and you will be taken to our
store-front from where you can start shopping. System will pre-fill
the billing and shipping information when you proceed to checkout to ease
the process.
If you don't remember your password, you can use your login username
and have the system email the password to you which should take about 1-2
minutes. You will not be able to log in into your account if you
loose your login username. For quick reference, please save your
email order notification you receive after your initial order - it will
have your login username displayed.
In a near future, we plan on introducing direct online tracking of
order status along with the ability to view order history.

3. Edit Your Personal Information |
|
Whenever your address or other personal information changes, you can edit
your account by signing in, and then clicking on "Account"
or welcome message which will take you to your account screen.
Make sure you save your information once you are finished editing.
The system will then take you to our webstore's store front.

4. Credit/Debit Card Information |
|
When a customer creates an account, only billing/shipping information is
saved. Payment information such as credit or debit card number is
not. Only the last four digits of the card number are saved on the server for a reference
purposed and are deleted when old orders are purged from the
system. (approx. every two months). Because credit/debit card information
is not being saved on the server, it needs to be re-entered with
every new order.
