1. Return / Exchange Policy


 
Returns:

Returns have to be received within 30 days from the date of shipping, except for a duvet covers where RMA# has to be requested within 3 days of receipt of the merchandise and received within 14 days
There are no returns on personalized items such as clocks, growth charts, etc.

% restocking fee or $7.50 applies to all returned orders, whichever is higher.  

Return Instructions:

  • Step 1: Please always contact us for return address and instructions. Orders are shipped directly from a manufacturer or a distributor and RMA (return merchandise authorization) number is required on all returns
    Packages received without RMA# (written on the outside of the box) will be refused.
     
    Since we work with several manufacturers/distributors, we need to provide you with a correct return address depending on what merchandise you ordered. Return address may differ from the address listed on the box. 
    You will be instructed to include either a copy of the packing slip or a copy of your initial order confirmation, depending on where the merchandise is being returns plush the reason for a return.
  • Step 2: Write the RMA# on the outside of the box along with the address provided by us. Include the merchandise which satisfies the conditions described below, packing slip or a copy of your order confirmation and send back to the address provided.
  • Step 3: Merchandise is inspected upon receipt and refund is issued, please allow up to two billing cycles for the refund to show up on your credit card statement. Initial shipping costs are non-refundable.  
    To check on the status of your refund, please email our customer service support. Simply reply to our order confirmation email with a request for a status of your refund.


Conditions that have to be satisfied to qualify for a return and a refund:

  • Unused, unwashed, unaltered item(s) only
  • Must be in the original packaging with no missing pieces
  • Duvet Covers have to be unopened to qualify for a return, once unfolded they cannot be accepted for a return due to sanitary reasons.  
    RMA# for duvet covers has to be requested within 3 days of receipt of the package and return received  within 14 days.
  • Other returned products have to be received within 30 days from the date of mailing.  No returns (or exchanges-see below) are accepted after 30 days from the date of shipping.  

Initial and Return Shipping Charges:

Initial shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping charges are responsibility of the customer unless a product is defective.  Items altered by a customer or without their original packaging (plastic container/wrapping)  may not be returned or exchanged.  Items returned in such condition will not qualify for a refund and become property of Millia LLC unless a customer is willing to pay return shipping cost to have the merchandise shipped back to them.

Free Shipping Orders:
 
Orders shipped with FREE SHIPPING will have the shipping cost deducted from the total amount in addition to the restocking fee.  If partial order that originally shipped for free is returned, the shipping cost will be subtracted from the refund total based on our original shipping table. If all merchandise is returned (with no original free shipping) and our actual  cost to ship the order was higher than our shipping table quote, the difference will be deducted from the refund total.

Defective Merchandise:

If an  item has a manufacturer's defect, please email us for exchange instructions. All claims have to reported  within 3 business days of receipt of the merchandise. Items with a defect are exchanged at no cost to a customer.  If exchange is not desired, return of such merchandise is considered a regular return and  restocking fees above apply.

Exchanges:

Each exchange is handled as a 'return-new order' and restocking fees may apply. Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of merchandise receipt, except the duvet covers which need to be returned within 14 days (RMA# has to be requested within 3 days as described above). 
Only new, unused, unwashed and unaltered merchandise will be accepted.  Please package item(s) carefully and send with the original packing slip.  Return shipping charges are responsibility of the customer.  New shipping cost applies on all exchanges unless the product has a manufacturer's flaw. Shipping costs from the initial order are non-refundable.

Refunds: 

Please allow up to two credit card statements for credit to appear. 
 

2. Missing, Incorrect Item(s) or Damaged/Lost/Misdelivered Merchandise
All claims of  missing, wrong item(s) sent or damage have to be reported  within 3 days after a shipment is received.  No exceptions.  Please inspect your merchandise as soon as possible after its receipt and contact us within the 5 day time frame for your claim to be honored. Merchandise is shipped directly from the manufacturers / distributors so any such claim have to be reported within a reasonable time frame in order to be accepted.
3. Privacy Policy

Customers shopping at KidsRoomTreasues.com do not have to worry about security and confidentiality of their personal information.  All personal information, such as names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses, are kept personal and private.  Customer information is used solely by the employees of Millia LLC, and only for the purposes necessary to conduct our business, e.g. to complete and ship orders.

When you make a purchase using a credit card, we collect your name and shipping and billing addresses.  For your security, no other sensitive information is saved on the server for reference purposes. Our credit card processor does now save credit card information but rather each transaction is handles under a transaction number (not a credit card number) to increase security.

When you create an account at KidsRoomTreasures.com, only your billing and shipping information is saved under your user name to be used in possible future orders you may place in our store.  No other information is saved. You can access, edit or delete this information anytime you wish.  Your credit card is never saved on our server.

Millia LLC does not, under any circumstances, sell personal  information, such as names, phone numbers, or email addressed, to any third parties.  We keep this information confident and use it solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders.

4. Transaction Security Policy

Payment information submitted on our website during the checkout process, is  transmitted by highest security 128-bit encryption to  our credit card transaction processor.

What is encryption?

Encryption takes meaningful text and numbers and scrambles them into numerical "nonsense" before transmitting them across the Internet. We are using 128-bit encryption, the highest level of encryption available.

The encryption process occurs for information going both directions - from your computer to the server we use, and vice versa. Encryption uses complex algorithmic formulas to create a key that is used to translate the scrambled numerical information back to the original information you have submitted.  Because there are billions of potential numerical sequences, it would take a thief several lifetimes to find the exact key and decipher information that is being transferred.
